Let’s get something straight before we start - I honestly hate language learning software with a passion.  If you give me a few seconds, I’ll tell you why - but first, a little bit about how I got here and why I’m writing this piece…

A friend of mine who has always given me excellent recommendations, dropped me an email the other day telling me that he’s been trying out this new language learning tool for the past month by Rocket Languages and was raving about it.

But why do I normally hate language learning software?
